Rebell® Amarillo - Intelligent Chromatic Protection for Fruit Trees and Vegetables

Reusable system of Rebell® Amarillo chromotropic traps, an ecological and effective solution for the monitoring and control of flying pests in fruit trees and vegetables. Each package contains 8 cross traps (20 x 15 cm), already with glue and ready to install.

Target pests

Ideal for the monitoring and capture of:

  • Cherry fruit fly (Rhagoletis cerasi);
  • Walnut husk fly (Rhagoletis completa);
  • Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis capitata);
  • Olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae);
  • Other fruit flies in pome fruits and stone fruits;
  • Cabbage stem weevil (Ceutorrhynchus quadridens);
  • Rape stem weevil (Ceutorrhynchus napi).

Cherry fruit fly: Monitoring and Control

  • Biological mode: Effective in isolated cherry trees and organic farming;
  • Installation: Before the change of colour of the cherries (green → yellow);
  • Recommended density: 2 to 10 traps per tree, in the south, east and west zones of the canopy;
  • Reinforcement: Can be combined with ammonium plaquettes (available separately) for greater efficacy.

Treatment decision: based on the average captures per trap and on the threshold values defined by variety and infestation level.

Walnut husk fly

  • Monitoring: Between June and August, with yellow chromotropic traps;
  • Indirect control: Early harvest, destruction of infested fruits and soil covering to prevent pupation.

Cabbage and rape weevil

  • Installation: 2 traps at 30-40 cm from the ground, from March;
  • Treatment: 2-3 weeks after the first captures.

Sustainable Reuse

  • Cleaning: With spatula and neutral biosolvent
  • Glue renewal: Commercially available as Tangle-Trap (156 g).
