VectoBac^® 12 AS is a bioinsecticide composed of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis strain AM 65-52 serotype H14, whose spores are highly effective in controlling mosquito larvae (Aedes spp., Anopheles spp., Culex spp., Culiseta spp. and Ochlerotatus spp.) and black flies (Simulium spp.) that habitually complete their larval phase in aquatic environments (marshes, ponds, ditches, canals, weirs, dams, rivers / streams and wastewater treatment plants).

The product has a potency of  8789 - 10623 IU / mg and acts by ingestion, being applied by spraying or through natural dispersion directly into the body of water to be treated. After ingesting the product during their feeding process, the larvae die within a few hours, achieving a considerable reduction in the level of the population of the target pests that reach the adult phase.

The product respects beneficial fauna, not causing any disturbance to the ecological balance established in the environment, being harmless to humans and to terrestrial / aquatic fauna.

The product is available in packages of 10 L.
