Turex^® - Effective and sustainable bioprotection against caterpillars

Microbiological bioinsecticide of international reference, formulated with Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt), and distributed exclusively by BIOSANI in Portugal. Combining the subspecies kurstaki and aizawai, the product has a potency of 25,000 IU/mg, which gives it a broad spectrum of action in controlling the larval instars of multiple species of lepidoptera - commonly known as caterpillars - in vegetable, forestry and ornamental crops.

• Double Bt strength for maximum efficacy - The combination of the subspecies kurstaki and aizawai makes it possible to reach different larval targets with high efficiency, even in resistant populations. The product acts by ingestion, causing paralysis of the larvae's digestive system and leading to their death within a few days;
• Resistance to UV radiation and prolonged persistence - Given its robust formulation, the product remains active for up to 10 days after application, even under intense solar exposure, ensuring lasting and effective protection;
• Compatible with Organic Agriculture and Integrated Production - Approved in Portugal by DGAV, the product is authorised for use in Integrated Pest Management programmes and in Organic Agriculture, being safe for the environment and for natural beneficial organisms;
• Crops and target pests - The product is recommended for the control of pests such as:

Helicoverpa armigera (tomato fruitworm);

Tuta absoluta (tomato leafminer);

Lobesia botrana (European grapevine moth);

Prays oleae (olive moth);

Thaumetopea pityocampa (pine processionary moth);
