Foray^® 48B - Biological precision in the control of forest caterpillars, with zero environmental impact

Foray^® 48B is the biological ally of excellence for protecting forests against defoliating caterpillars. Formulated as a concentrated suspension, it combines viable spores and crystals of δ-endotoxins of the bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies kurstaki, strain ABTS-351, ensuring selective efficacy and environmental safety.

• Developed for maximum efficacy - It acts on the larval stages of defoliating lepidoptera, protecting broadleaf and coniferous forests. Approved for species such as pine, stone pine, holm oak, cork oak and on other species of oaks, such as: beech and hornbeam;
• Proven pest control - Effective against the pine processionary moth (Thaumetopea pityocampa), the gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar) and other harmful species;
• Versatile and innovative application - The only Bt authorised for aerial application at ultra-low volume (ULV) - ideal for large forest areas. Also approved for ground applications, with manual or mechanised sprayers;
• Fast and selective mode of action - The larvae stop feeding within a few hours and die between 2 and 5 days after ingestion. It does not affect eggs or adults, ensuring precision on the target;
• Guaranteed ecological safety - Highly selective: it does not harm beneficial insects, birds, fish or mammals. Compatible with Integrated Protection and Organic Agriculture programmes.

Dose: 2.5 to 4L/ ha.
