CERATIPACK^® is a system consisting of a trap, attractant and insecticide. It was specially developed for the monitoring and mass trapping of the Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis capitata), a pest that causes considerable damage to the fruit in orchards of kiwis (includes A. chinensis, A. deliciosa and A. arguta), plum trees, cherry trees, apricot trees, citrus [orange trees, limes, lemon trees, mandarin trees (includes clementines and hybrids) and grapefruits], apple trees, mango trees, quince trees, pear trees (includes P. comunis and P. pyrifolia), peach trees, nectarines and on vines.

The trap contains a food attractant (ammonium acetate, trimethylamine hydrochloride and cadaverine) and a film impregnated with deltamethrin. The fly is thus attracted into the trap and is eradicated after coming into contact with the deltamethrin.

Dose: 50 to 80 traps/ha (depending on the variety, density, season and intensity of the attack - check the documentation).

This product is available in a sealed pack of 20 units, consisting of 20 traps, 20 attractants and 20 insecticides.
