Scyphophorus acupunctatus

Common name: Agave weevil.

Recommended trap: Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Pitfall type). It is also possible to use the Cosmopolites sordidus (Pitfall type). Note: The trap is purchased separately.

Omnilure (dispenser with aggregation pheromone attractant), containing a minimum of 200 g of pheromones for monitoring and capturing males and females of the agave weevil in a trap for 5 weeks. 

Attention: Gloves must be used to handle the dispenser after opening the sealed package. The dispenser containing the attractant needs to be activated, in order to release the pheromones. To activate the dispenser, the hook must be pulled until you feel a slight click, in order to open the dispenser. After opening, the dispenser must be positioned in the trap according to the guidelines provided in the technical data sheet.

The product is available in an individual sealed package of 8.5 g (> 200 mg of attractant - aggregation pheromones) (minimum order of 50 units).

For smaller quantities (minimum order of 5 or 10 units), the product will be supplied loose, without individual packaging.
