Blue Chromotropic Roll - Professional Monitoring of Thrips and Whiteflies in Protected Crops

The Blue Chromotropic Roll is a highly effective and reusable solution for the monitoring of flying pests, with emphasis on thrips (Thysanoptera), whiteflies and leaf miners. Its intense blue tone exerts a strong visual attraction on these species, allowing early and precise detection in protected crops (greenhouses) and in specific outdoor zones, such as trunks of trees affected by the pine processionary moth.

Recommended Application

• Greenhouses: Install one line of roll for each longitudinal line of structure supports;

Attention: Frequent monitoring and periodic replacement of the screen is recommended, especially in situations where the intensity of the level of catches reduces the ability of the glue to properly retain the attracted insects. The blue colour is an alternative to the use of the yellow screen in limiting the procession of the pine processionary moth, since it does not attract beneficials, namely bees.
