Refuge-type trap, consisting of multiple fabric strips attached to a malleable central element, specially developed for the monitoring of certain types of beetles (for example: Otiorhynchus sulcatus) that attack various crops. The trap allows the concentration of the insects, which seek refuge among the folds of fabric. The insects must be collected regularly and removed from the crop. The use of attractant pheromone dispensers is recommended, and these must be positioned strategically above the trap installation site. The trap must be installed at the location of interest to be monitored, directly on the ground, wrapped around the plant.
