Otiorhynchus sulcatus

Common name: Vine weevil, casaca-de-ferro or pedroto.

Recommended trap: Flounce trap. It is also possible to use the Cosmopolites sordidus trap or the Rhynchophorus ferrugineus trap. Note: The trap is purchased separately.

Omnilure (dispenser with aggregation pheromone) containing 0.5 g of pheromone formulated in NWF (non-woven fabric) inside a plastic dispenser with a hook for activation / suspension, for monitoring males and females of the vine weevil in a trap for 8 weeks.

Attention: Gloves must be used to handle the dispenser after opening the sealed pack. The pheromone dispenser needs to be activated, in order to release the pheromones. To activate the dispenser, the hook must be pulled until a slight click is felt, in order to open the dispenser and allow the gradual release of the pheromones. After opening, the dispenser must be positioned 20 to 30 cm above the trap.

The product is available in an individual sealed pack with 7 g (0.5 g of pheromone) (minimum order of 50 units).

For smaller quantities (minimum order of 5 or 10 units), the product will be supplied loose, without individual packaging.
