Melolontha spp.

Common name: Cockchafer / common chafer or white grub beetle (Melolontha melolontha) and forest cockchafer (Melolontha hippocastani).

Recommended trap: Funnel type green with crossed barrier. Note: The trap is purchased separately.

Combilure (dispenser with a bi-specific combination of sex pheromones) formulated in a pipette / ampoule containing 0,5 g of pheromones, for monitoring males of two species of the genus Melolontha (M. melolontha and M. hippocastani) in a trap for 4 to 6 weeks.

Attention: Gloves must be used to handle the pipette after opening the sealed package. The  pipette / ampoule containing the pheromone combilure needs to be cut about 1 cm above the reservoir, in order to release the pheromones. Do not invert the pipette after opening it. After opening, the pipette must be carefully positioned inside the trap cage with the opening facing up, and the cage properly closed and installed in the trap.

The product is available in an individual sealed package with 1 g (0,5 g of pheromones).
