Cydia pomonella - pheromone + kairomone (CMDA COMBO-P+AA)

Common name: Codling moth.

Recommended trap: Delta type. Note: The trap is purchased separately.

Product consisting of two dispensers packaged separately but marketed in a single package. One of the dispensers contains 2 % of a sex pheromone and a kairomone and the other contains 1 % of an enhancer, which are used for the simultaneous monitoring of males and females of the codling moth in pome fruits, stone fruits and others. The use of the two dispensers allows the simultaneous monitoring of males and females over 12 weeks in a single trap, which makes the product highly efficient in orchards protected by the mating disruption method for assessing the efficacy of the control method and presents itself as an extremely interesting option for monitoring the pest in conventional orchards and in small areas, such as family orchards or isolated trees.

Attention: Gloves must be used to handle the dispensers after opening the sealed package. The handling of the dispensers must be carried out separately to avoid cross contamination. It is advised to handle the CMDA-P first and lastly handle the AA. In the case of preparing multiple traps, install the CMDA-P in all the traps and only then install the AA. It is recommended that you consult the installation instructions, in order to proceed correctly during its handling and assembly in the trap and that you carry out the maintenance of the glue base and cleaning of the trap every 4 weeks of use.

As the minimum number of traps to use for each plot, the following is recommended:

- Walnut - the use of two traps in plots smaller than four hectares and the use of one trap per six hectares in plots larger than forty hectares;

- Apple and pear - the use of two traps in plots smaller than four hectares, of one trap per two hectares in plots larger than four hectares and smaller than forty and of one trap per six hectares in plots larger than forty hectares.

The product is available in an individual sealed package of 5 g (2 % of pheromones / kairomone and 1 % of enhancer).
