The Standard kit 5 for monitoring the codling moth (Cydia pomonella) was developed with 5 delta traps for growers who keep their orchards under plant protection treatment and wish to track the presence of the pest throughout the campaign. This kit enables early detection and continuous assessment of population pressure, contributing to more effective decisions in damage control. It includes materials for two complete replacements of the monitoring elements (pheromone dispenser and glue base), ensuring extended coverage.

Kit contents (5 traps)

• 5 delta-type traps with a sturdy structure and easy assembly;
• 15 glue bases ready to install, for visual monitoring of catches;
• 15 sex pheromone dispensers (4 mg each) specific for the codling moth.

Dispenser durability:
Each dispenser has an average duration of 4 to 6 weeks, allowing total coverage of up to 18 weeks per trap.

Dose: 1 to 5 traps w/ dispenser/ha (depending on the objective, plot, crop density, season and intensity of the attack).

The kit is sold assembled in a single package with assembly instructions.

Attention: Gloves must be used to handle the pheromone dispenser after opening the sealed package. The glue base must be replaced whenever a new pheromone dispenser is installed. Frequent monitoring and cleaning of the traps is recommended. Keep the pheromone dispensers refrigerated (refrigerator or freezer) until the installation date.
