Standard Kit 2 - Rigorous Monitoring of the Chestnut Tortrix in Treated Chestnut Groves

The standard kit 5 for monitoring the chestnut tortrix (Cydia splendana) was developed with 2 delta traps for the effective monitoring of the pest in chestnut groves with plant protection treatment. Especially developed for the monitoring, assessment and detection of the presence of the pest. This kit offers a practical and complete solution for chestnut groves under plant protection treatment, allowing reliable data to be collected throughout the entire campaign. Its components allow two complete replacements of the consumables (pheromone dispensers and sticky bases), ensuring effective coverage throughout the entire critical flight period of the pest (from midsummer until late autumn).

This kit is an essential tool for technicians and growers who wish to accurately monitor the pest, adjust plant protection treatments and protect production based on real field data.

Kit Contents (2 traps)

• 2 delta-type traps with a lightweight, durable and reusable structure;
• 6 sticky bases ready to install, ensuring visual monitoring of the captures;
• 6 sex pheromone dispensers (1 mg), specific for the chestnut tortrix, with high attraction power.

Dispenser durability:
Each dispenser has an average duration of 45 days, allowing full coverage of up to 135 days per trap.

Dose: 1 to 5 traps w/ dispenser/ha (depending on the objective, plot, crop density, season and intensity of the attack).

The kit is sold together in a single package with assembly instructions.

Attention: Gloves should be used to handle the pheromone dispenser after opening the sealed package. The sticky base should be replaced whenever a new pheromone dispenser is installed. Frequent monitoring and cleaning of the traps is recommended. Store the pheromone dispensers in a cold place (refrigerator or freezer) until the date of installation.
